How to wear it, week 4

Cropped Jackets- (girls)

rules- no rules, other than making sure that you're cropped jacket matches the rest of your outfit.
help-
  • denim looks best with pastel colors, such as pink or candy blue
  • leather or other dark patents look best with dark colors like wine red, or deep purple.
  • skirt must be high waisted and must be gathered or layered.
  • jeans must be skinny jeans or straight leg jeans

how to wear it (part one- skirt) -
  • like I said in 'rules' make sure the jacket matches the rest of you're outfit. Leave jacket open.
  • tuck your shirt into your skirt. I'd prefer that the skirt be layered or gathered and high waisted. This will make your middle look trimmed and will create a clean silhouette. Avoid pleats and low rises that will ruin the affect.
  • finish with either flats of any kind or strappy gladiators or even strappy wedges. I'd choose the wedges because they'll make your calves look toned and your legs longer. If you have long legs like me than feel free to go with the flats or gladiators.

how to wear it (part two- skinny/straight leg jeans.)
  • layer jacket over a long shirt. Jacket must be left open, otherwise it'll make your body look choppy
  • IF JACKET IS OPEN- belt your shirt with a thick belt. No skinny belts.
  • either cork bottom wedges or stilettos. Whatever you feel looks best with your outfit.

This jacket would turn heads with a wine red shirt, dark denim skinny jeans, and cork bottom wedges.
This would be really cute with a soft pastle pink skirt, white layered skirt, and metalic silver flats.
