Here's what ya need- '
- three bananas (more or less depending on hair length. My hair is a few inches past my shoulders)
- coconut oil (or whole milk. Honestly, it doesn't matter)
- Honey (optional. Add it if you want extra moisture)
- a bowl
- towel
- claw clips
- a spoon
- gloves (optional. I'd use them if you plan to drink the rest of your banana milkshake, but I don't drink it so....)
- mash your bananas in a bowl
- add coconut oil (or milk) until it's the same consistency of conditioner
- add about two tablespoons of honey. It doesn't have to be exact. I just eye-ball it.
- this part is also totally optional. You can heat up the mixture for 20-30 minutes on high and let it cool until it's warm but not too hot or too cold. If it's warm, it'll get into the hair shafts easier and repair better
- apply to hair (while wearing a shirt you don't really care about) while standing in a shower or with your head over the sink
- twist hair back with a claw clip and wrap a towel around your hair
- leave in for about an hour
- wash out regularly
