Parent-Teacher Conferences

So today I have parent-teacher conferences. I don't know how your guys' parent-teacher conferences work, but in my school, the student's don't have to be there. So I never went to any of them. But today I have to. The reason why I have to go is because I'm signed up for AP history for my sophomore year and I need to meet my AP history teacher. His name is Mr. Gerrits (I don't even know if I'm spelling that right) and I am totally on edge. I've seen him probably once and he's intimidating. But I am intimidated easily, which is probably why I've never made the first move when it comes to asking guys out. But anywhore,(my new favorite word)  I'm VERY scared of him. So I'm gonna do what I know best when it comes to meeting adults for the first time- look decent and keep my mouth shut unless directly spoken too. Which is kinda my approach to guys, too :) But other than the mandatory meeting with Mr. Gerrits I want to talk to my art/print making teacher, my Spanish teacher, my History teacher, and my English teacher. So I pretty much want my mom to talk to the teachers that teach my best subjects. (notice how I didn't list my science or algebra teacher. I'm getting a B and a C in those classes. Not in that order.) So to try not to worry and stress too much, today I'm doing a ton of facials and masks. My go to stress relievers :) I'm actually doing one of my favorites- The yogurt-honey-lemon facial. And later I'll do an ice facial and pluck my eyebrows. That one doesn't really relieve stress but it'll be a confidence booster which is probably something I'll need today. So wish me luck in meeting my AP history teacher and hope that my teachers have a lot of good things to say about me *hoping all goes well*

First veggie post

Here's the video that first inspired me to become a vegetarian. If you're a sensitive viewer, you might not want to watch this. I had to turn it off at one point because it was so bad (they're in parts) -

So that's my motivational video for sustaining vegetarianism.

Here's a really good, pretty straight forward website about vegetarianism-

And, of course, reasons to become a vegetarian-

My latest life decision

So this weekend, I made the decision to become a vegetarian. Back in the seventh grade, I tried vegetarianism for about a week to see if I liked it. And I did. I don't remember why I stopped, but recently I started thinking about it, and I decided that I wanted to go ahead and pick it up again. Now, I'm not a vegan. I like dairy products and eggs WAY too much to become a vegan. I don't mind people who eat meat, and I won't preach to them about becoming a vegetarian either. If you eat meat, fine. So does most of my family and I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of my friends eat meat as well. I doesn't bother me one bit :) I'm just really thankful that I have family who support my decision, even though some of my friends don't support me. Sad, but true. So I'd really appreciate the support from you guys too :) And if you decide to become a vegetarian, or if you are a vegetarian, I'll start posting links to videos/blogs/websites that support it and give out vegetarian recipes.

OTHER THINGS GOING ON!!!
So you guys know that senior that I've had a thing for since August? He made it to state wrestling :)Yay! Wish I could've been there, and I wanna know what's going on and how he's doing. I haven't seen him since Thursday and I miss seeing his face :( But I think he'll be back by this Monday

Remember my confliction with the guy in my grade and the senior mentioned above? Well the guy in my grade  has gotten a lot more bold recently. He's been holding my hand, tickling me, pushing the hair off my face and behind my ears, defending me against innocent teasing between me and my friends, offering to rub my shoulders (which I took him up on. When someone offers to rub your shoulders and doesn't expect anything in return, you'd take them up on it too.) staring at me in class, asking me to sit at his lunch table, and he even kissed my wrist. The reason why he kissed my wrist was because there were some scratches there from my cat and he thought I was cutting myself (which I don't do.) and he told me to 'please stop, because I care about you.' He's also been helping me with homework (which is cute because I don't need help and he seriously does) wrapping his arms around my waist from behind me, and offering me his hoodie whenever I shiver. I like the attention, but honestly? I just think he's extremely sexually frustrated

Last thing! Remember my friend who liked that senior that I like now, and than she started liking his cousin? Well she doesn't like his cousin anymore. Now she likes this guy that she was crushing on back in the eight grade.

Well that's pretty much what my life looks like right now!

Videos that make me happy :)

These videos made me laugh really hard! When ever I'm having a bad day I turn them on and they immediately make me feel better :) So here they are if you ever need anything to turn a bad day into the best day out of your week.

So the first two videos are part 1 and 2 of '11 drunk guys play slender' which is the funniest video I've seen in awhile :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X81lT0BX18k

So there's that^^. Than the next few videos are the same guys but instead they're playing Hospice which is a knock-off of Slender. Personally, I think it's scarier than the original Slender, because I'm afraid of hospitals. Especially abandoned ones.

So yeah, there ya guys go! Hope that they make you feel as good as they make me feel!

quote- Call it a curse, or just call me blessed. If you can't handle my worst, you ain't getting my best, is this how Marilyn Monroe felt? - Nicki Minaj- Marilyn Monroe
song- Marilyn Monroe- Nicki Minaj (where I got this quote^^)
word- Slender (I know, I kinda cheated on that one, but I'm thinking about dropping it so )
celeb- Marilyn Monroe (the BEST actress ever. I don't think she killed herself. I think she was murdered)

Opportunities

So today we had some juniors and sophomores talk to the freshman about joining AP history next year. I really wanted to take it, but I was afraid I'd fall behind between AP history, AP English (which I already signed up for) next years marching season, make-up crew, other homework, church, family, social life, and babysitting. But my history teacher pulled me aside and said that he 'strongly recommends' that I take it. I told him I was worried about falling behind but he said that he knew how hard I worked and if I applied that, I'd be able to handle it. Sooooo, I took his advice and signed up for the class :) Last year as an eighth grader, I took three advanced classes so hopefully I'll be used to the fast pace of the class. And I'm willing to sacrifice my social life and put a hold on the babysitting thing for awhile. Just until marching season and make-up crew slows down a bit. Anyways the point of this post was to have faith in yourself! Sign up for the AP class and trust that you'll do fine! Look at it this way- sacrifice social life now and than get it back when you're in college. Also the money you save for not having to take the class in college  :) cross your fingers for me guys! Oh  and another thing- I never told you guys about how I did on my finals. I got a 99 percent on my science final, a 90 percent on my Spanish final, than a 90 percent on my English final. I still don't know about algebra or history but once I figure it out, I'll let you guys know.
